Patient: Female, age 37<\/strong><\/p>\n The patient visited her family doctor for the first time in May, with a request to investigate a lump above the right collarbone. The diagnosis ordered by the family doctor including biopsy finally revealed a definitive diagnosis: Cancer of the lymph nodes (Hodgkin’s disease, stage II) with foci in multiple lymph nodes in the neck, chest and stomach and affecting the liver and spleen. The most outstanding feature was a <1321>tumour in the chest area<\/1321> with size 13*10*7 cm.<\/p>\n After detailed, thorough consultation with several doctors, the patient decided on an extreme course of action: despite promising prospects of success with classic, conventional medicine in the form of chemotherapy<\/span> for this type of cancer, she rejected this treatment. Even the prospect of milder possible side effects with concomitant support from natural remedies did not persuade her to undergo a normal course of chemotherapy.<\/p>\n The patient placed all her faith in IPT treatment<\/strong>, i.e. “Insulin-Potentiated Low-Dose Chemotherapy”, in which only a fraction of the cytostatics normally used is administered.<\/p>\n The treatment was started in November of the same year and continued in several sessions until April of the following year.
