Oxygen is life, and fuel for the immune system
Without oxygen, organic life cannot exist.
Very many disease may be based on, or originate as a result of disturbances in the metabolism of oxygen. Particularly chronic diseases are often the result of persistent oxygen utilisation dysfunctions which have existed for some time and are harming the entire organism.
Inadequate oxygen supply has disastrous consequences for the performance of tasks by the various white blood cell types (leucocytes). Leucocytes cleanse the organism of harmful substances and pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, tumour cells, toxins, worms, fungi and much more.
The different types of leucocyte perform an enormous variety of functions as part of the immune system, up to and including marking antigens and combating diseased autologous cells and cancer cells.
These neutrophilic granulocytes, macrophages and dendritic cells are therefore all called scavenger cells for the sake of simplicity.
If these are weakened or even rendered ineffective by oxygen starvation, countless disorders and diseases may arise.
Ozone – in the right dose a power fuel for the organism
Ozone is an active form of oxygen which is produced from pure oxygen.
In certain doses, it improves blood flow and the transport of oxygen, and can be administered very beneficially in cases of circulatory disturbances, for example.
Ozone therapy can be thought of as a stimulation therapy, which naturally induces the body to activate its own healing and defence responses.
Accordingly, ozone therapy might also be described as an internal Kneipp cure, which has been used successfully and recognised for over 100 years.
At the Center for Advanced Medicine, ozone is administered intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intravenously. Once inside the body, ozone supports liver detoxification, breaks down unhealthy cholesterols and triglycerides, energises cell metabolism, ameloriates circulatory problems counteracts thromboses and protects the body from harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi.
Apart from the pain-relieving effect of ozone, ozone therapy has been recognised for many years, and has recorded demonstrable successes in treating arthroses, polyneuropathies, arterial sclerosis, water retention in the legs, liver diseases, circulatory disorders, rheumatic diseases, skin disease of the acne and eczema type, migraine and symptoms of fatigue, heart disease, after-effects of heart attack and stroke as well as cancer diseases as an adjunct therapy.
