Whole body hyperthermia
Finally, whole body hyperthermia is adapted to work with one of the best bodily defence and healing mechanisms we humans possess: fever. Because fever is not a disease, it is a natural and desirable reaction by the organism as it attempts to rid the body of viruses, pathogenic bacteria, parasites, germs and other substance that make us sick. The elevated temperature in the body inhibits the metabolic activities of the intruder and alters the structural composition of its proteins. This gives the immune system the opportunity to fight viral and bacterial infections.
By virtue of this principle, whole body hyperthermia can also be applied usefully to cancer diseases that have already metastasised, meaning that various other regions of the body are affected. Since our bodies do not normally develop fever in response to cancer processes, the patient’s whole body is warmed from outside. The entire organism is warmed moderately, i.e. the temperatures induced are in the range from 38 °C to 40 °C, and both warming and cooling phases are carried out slowly. And ultimately the duration of the whole body hyperthermia therapy is controlled by the patient himself, because this form of hyperthermia is controlled by the pulse.
Accordingly, the highest temperature limit the patient can tolerate is controlled by the body’s own pulse.
This means that whole body hyperthermia can also be used to treat children and weak patients effectively without having to make allowances for unfavourable side effects.
Whole body hyperthermia is suitable for use against a variety of diseases:
- Chronic diseases
- Cancers
- Lyme disease
- Fibromyalgia
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
- Pain syndrome
- Resistance build-up
- and many other disorders and diseases
